Ministries For Adults
The Prayer Team is made up of
people, who with faith and confidentiality bring personal, congregational, and global
concerns before God.
Prime Time is a seniors
fellowship and study group that meets on the 1st, 3rd & 5th Thursdays of each month at
1:30 p.m. This is an opportunity for our seniors to enjoy spiritual and social
stimulation.
Home Groups: We offer a number
of home-based groups which meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, worship and fellowship.
The Friendship Club: A community
outreach ministry for developmentally disabled adults meets on the first, third and fifth
Mondays of the month.
The Iona Group is a group in
the congregation for women, which meets monthly providing varied programs and warm
fellowship. All women of the congregation are encouraged to join. This group operates
under the umbrella of the Womens's Guild which meets as a whole several times a year. The
Guild serves the congregation in various ways, including being responsible for the Flower
Team which provides flowers for the Sanctuary. The Guild also financially supports various
missions and charities, and particularly the Women's Missionary Society of The
Presbyterian Church in Canada.
Ministries For Children
Each Sunday
we offer age appropriate biblical education for our children (JK through Grade 6) at,
both, our 10:00 a.m. and our 11:15 a.m. services. We have a staffed nursery for infants
and toddlers.
Be sure to check out Joyfully Yours. This is the blog of
Diana Loach, our Director of Children's Ministries. Here you will find, among other
things, updates on current children's activities.

Ministries For All Ages
St.
Giles Kingsway has a great library, and an ever-growing one! Over the last
couple of years, we have been blessed with an influx of many new books that compliment our
original library and support the teaching of the congregation. We can say with
confidence that there is a book here for you! Our selections cover all age groups
and interests, from scholarly works to entertaining fiction, and everything in
between. Were working on building our CD, DVD and video collections, as well
as our Family and Teaching Resources. So, if youre considering teaching, or
trying to endure a long commute, or just looking for an non-reading way to
take in Biblical material, we have the resources for you and your family. Bring your children and come on in. There are computer and manual search systems are
in place, and either Simonne Nord or MaryAnne Terry (our church librarians) would be
delighted to show you around and help you find a book. |
