REVEREND TIM BRUNEAU
Tim grew up in a strong Christian family in Grimsby, Ontario where he attended Cheyne Presbyterian Church. He completed his B.A. at the University of Guelph in 1999 and, after discerning a call to ministry, entered Presbyterian College/McGill University.
After graduating in 2004, Tim married Kelly and they moved to New Westminster, B.C. to serve at First Presbyterian Church.
Since coming to St. Giles Kingsway in 2012, Tim focuses on teaching from the Bible and reaching out so that our church doors are open to all people.
Tim and his wife Kelly have four daughters, Evelyn, Kya, Vanessa and Lindsey. Tim enjoys traveling, watching action films and playing sports, particularly basketball.
Esther was raised in a passionate Christian home in Seoul, South Korea. She has a multicultural background as she lived in three different continents, South Korea, Chile and Spain before settling down in Canada.
Esther has over 10 years of experience in family ministry, working with children and youth. She received God’s calling into ministry in 2007,
and since then has been working towards fulfilling that calling. Esther holds a Bachelor of Religious Education from Tyndale University and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity at the University of Toronto (Knox College). She is fluent in three languages: Korean, Spanish and English. She has a strong passion for ministry and believes God has called her to this ministry at St. Giles Kingsway.
Esther is married to Jason and they have two
wonderful children, Sion and Grace.
DIRECTOR OF MUSIC
Ran began as our Director of Music on March 14, 2004. After completing her studies at the Presbyterian Seminary in Korea, Ran moved to Canada where she studied organ at McGill University, Montreal, and the Glenn Gould School, Toronto. During the week Ran is a regular guest performer at the Yorkminster Park Baptist Church noon hour organ recital series. Ran is a gifted musician and superb teacher. Married to András Weber, a professional cellist, they have a son, Emmanuel.
Heather has been with the congregation almost from its inception. Married with three children, both Heather and her spouse are sustaining elders to our congregation. Heather has proved herself to be a leader and a guide to the many people who come into the offices at the church.
